Message from Paul
Paul M. Whalen
I have been a part of the real estate industry since 1980. Now, I’m focused on providing financial solutions for real estate ventures. Specifically, I’m connecting real estate investors with owners and developers, arranging the most efficient capital structure for any commercial property endeavor.
In the course of my 40-plus-year career, there isn’t a real estate capital structure which I haven’t executed. I’ve deployed the breadth and depth of my knowledge to maximum effect for my clients, which have included institutional investors, private owners and developers of commercial properties. My methods and record speak for themselves.
I founded Whalen Realty Capital, which in addition to functioning as a capital intermediary, owned in joint-venture with a state pension fund a portfolio of industrial real estate in South Florida. I’m also a founder of LienBase, which sponsored partnerships acquiring tax lien certificates.
In my current role, I utilize our extensive network of life insurance companies, Agency Lenders (Freddie; Fannie; HUD), banks and private lenders/equity investors – combined with decades of experience- to meet my client’s financial objectives. I always strive to exceed the client’s expectations, and am loathe to ever over promise. Time is a scarce resource, which can’t be gotten back if squandered.
When I’m not providing my clients with innovative solutions, I’m an avid reader, eclectic music aficionado, and baseball fan. An organization I’ve donated to and been active with is Feeding South Florida, as well as the ASPCA.
